Responsibilities

The role holder will be trained in titles searching techniques so that accurate title searches (Legal Reports and Remortgage searches) and associated products (Plans Reports, Company & Charges Reports etc.) can be produced through interrogation of internal and external sources of property and personal data.

  • Develop an understanding of titles searching techniques so that, on completion of relevant training, the individual can interrogate Registers of Scotland Registers Direct online system to accurately narrate any relevant property-related matters on Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches.
  • Develop an understanding of titles searching techniques so that, on completion of relevant training, the individual can interrogate internal and external sources of Inhibition and Insolvency data to identify any matters to be disclosed on Legal Reports and Remortgage Searches.
  • Develop an understanding of titles searching techniques so that, on completion of relevant training, the individual can submit orders for Plans Reports to Registers of Scotland and return completed reports to customers.
  • Develop an understanding of titles searching techniques so that, on completion of relevant training, the individual can interrogate internal and external sources of company data to compile Company Searches and Charges Reports.
